has anyone done this. i want to be able to pass emissions.

Hybrid, or full swap? You could easily hack something up with a hybrid swap (as KRRZ350 did). A full A33B swap you wouldn't need EGR, as the stock ECU accomplishes that with the CVTC system.

Though if you did a full A34 swap, it probably wouldn't be an issue given that they have external EGR.

You could do A34 exhaust manifold/UIM/EGR components on an A33B motor, you would just need to come up with some way of controlling the EGR valve (electronic stepper motor 99+, IIRC).

I am going to be using the 4th gen EGR, and just tapping the intake manifold and modifying the line going to it. I have 98% of it worked out already.

Nice job, thanks for the pics. That is similiar to what I have in mind, though mine will not be quite so elegant. I am going to tap/thread a hole in mine and use an NPT fitting, then grind it flush. I like yours better though.

Well almost.

I still haven't figured out the MAP/BARO thing yet. But EGR is good.
