4th Gen Fidanza Flywheel not fitting on Crank Shaft
4th Gen Fidanza Flywheel not fitting on Crank Shaft
Hey
I ordered a fidanza flywheel (12lbs) and clutch from ebay. The flywheel weighs 12 pounds as stated and the clutch checks out. Now when I went to go put it on the flywheel does not fit on the crankshaft as the center hole is to small. My brother says the flywheel is a knock off. Is there any way of figuring if its a true fidanza flywheel? It does have some sort of ID scratched into the flywheel but thats it.
Any help would be appreciated. The flywheel is going to a machine shop tomorrow to have it enlarged, of course the original flywheel is going with it for proper measurement.
Thanks

I have installed a few Fidanza's and they have always been really snug. The one I just installed took a few minutes of light sanding and testing to get it to fit right. Never required any machining though.
