No you can not. The e-manage is just a piggyback on top of the stock ecu so you will still have to swap over the components.

What exactly are you asking? Be clear.

If you're asking if you can run VQ35 cam timing and the like, well it's obvious no, because there are mechanical items that need to be swapped too.

If you are asking if you can run a VQ35 with VQ30 cam timing equipment using the EMU, then yes, been done thousands of times.

here's what you should expect - ask a Stupid question, and you'll get a stupid answer.

let's try this again: answer this question and you will have answered your own question..
Why do you have to swap timing in the first place to make a 3.5L work on a 3.0???

^^^if you can't answer that, stop trolling the forums, pay somebody to do the swap for you, that's the best thing you can do.

Ajcool answered you in the very first reply. Had you done ANY research you would know why swapping timing is necessary when running a 3.5 on a 3.0 ECU. As well, you would know the reason for swapping timing while using a piggyback on a 3.0 ECU.

3.0 ECU has no outputs for VTC, 4th gen has no harness for VTC, piggy back does nothing to change this.

Being a noob is bad enough, stop being a douche.

the way i was thinking is..well the vtc is on or off no between and just modify the cam shaft position sensor to one of the cam sensors on the back opposite side of the timing case that pick up the cam .. but i dont understand if it will read that and has any one tried it because it just that would be ez and dose it work on a different trigger i want some one who know why not just things they read off the org lol and dont even swap

VTC is variable, not just on/off. It needs a controller, or people would just run an rpm switch. This is common knowledge on the org.

If im not mistaken the system uses pulse width modulation applying a set voltage to solenoids to vary hydraulic (oil) pressure the the vtcs.
The timing advance is on a curve just like ignition.
