Vq35 pistons

Whats going on guys. I have cam across a 2012 maxima engine that turned out to have a burned up bottom end. I do have a good 2003 vq35de. I was wondering if there is a benefit of running a new set of 2012 pistons in the 2003 block with the 03 rods. I still need to weigh the pistons. To see if there is a weight difference. I can fiscally see there is a physical difference. Just want to know your thoughts.

the 2012 is on the left

So I got access to a scale and all the data is as follows. The 2012 piston is 383.4 grams, 2003 396.4 grams. Wrist pin 2012 99.2 grams, 2003 105.7 grams. Connecting rod 2012 590 grams, 2003 589.3 grams. The combustion height is the same for both pistons.
