I have two Jl 12 W3 subwoofers. I have somone that wants to buy them for $300. I already have a new alpine HU and the new digital alpine sub amps. What do you guys think of two Alpine 12 Type R. How would you compare them. Thank you very much.

 

I don't think you'll be happy with the trade personally..the r's are decent subs and handle more power, but lack the sq capabilities of the w3's..If it were me, I would keep what you have but that's just my opinion...listen to them and see if you like them, I didn't personally..you could sell them and throw a little in and get a w7 though...1 w7 will outperform 3 w3's in same scenario
