Want to add amp with cheap RCA converter...where can I get a wire diagram?

I want to add amp to my stiock 96 BOSE system with cheap RCA converter...where can I get a wire diagram? I had an audiolink setup, but I am low on funds and have to sell it. I have a cheap RCA converter, and have heard that they work, but not as well. Where can I get the wire codes for the signal (speaker)-level inputs, amp turn-on, 12Vswitched, and ground. I would RATHER have the amp on ONLY with the HU, if that is possible. Any thoughts? Also, where is the best place to tap off of these wires?

I may be wrong. I don't have a 96 to be positive, but from other posts i gathered that the 96 has amplifiers in each speaker housing. If this is true, there will be a low level signal going to the speakers and a cheap rca converter will not work. You may be able to get a wiring kit and install rca connectors on it or they may sell a maxima to rca wire kit in itself. I bet ya, though, that bose is still up to there no good proprietary selfs and the low level outputs will be higher or lower than the norm.
Also if adding this amp for the regular speakers, you will have to go to each door, bypass the amp, and drop a new speaker into it.

It would just be on a subwoofer. What about just tapping the signal post-Bose amp but pre- speaker?

Tapping the rear speakers is one solution, but for me it really degraded the whole system performance. Sound quality really dropped, so i bit the bullet and bought an adapter for the back of the head unit. 50 bucks later and nice sound quality. I know its a *****, but I couldnt stand haveing the bose sound worse than it already does. Anyway I was tapping in before the amp on the rear speakers, that should be low level input.
