Does anyone have pics posted of an Infinity Basslink installed in their trunk? I would really like to see what it looks like

basslink

I am not happy at all with my basslink I put it in today agianst the rear cabin so u can see it throught that door thing. but its not hitting hard at all. U can barely even feel it from the outside. The Link is on max bass. but if I put the bass on my Face up the music distorts and if I put the bass down the music plays loud and clear but no bass

Didn't you get some pics in the thread in the 5th gen forum about this?

Man, you're all over the place!

Seriously though, it seems you have something set-up wrong somewhere. It looks like your headunit is clipping the signal. Are you using a speaker level connection or RCA?

I have mine spkr level -> line level converter -> RCA input to the 'link.

The 'link isn't even supposed to distort as it scales back when a blow is anticipated.

Where do you have the low-pass filter set? It's variable between 50-120Hz and you might have the filter set too high, that could be giving you some sort of distortion. I keep mine pretty low because most of the mids and low mids are handled by my 6x9s.
