Kazaa has spyware. Almost all file sharing programs have spyware. Although they probably won't do anything malicious, I don't like the fact that they're getting my info. The only one that I know of that doesn't have spyware is WinMX. Just search over at http://www.download.com and it should be there. WinMX sucks for finding rare stuff. It'll be hard to find a rare song available to download, but for recent, popular stuff there is no problem. Audiogalaxy was good too, but it installed spyware even when you tell it not to. It installed the infamous Gator whether you wanted it or not.

They are pretty much the same thing but have different names, also Kaaza is Spyware, were morpheus supposily is not. Some place tells you how to delete the spyware. But they all pretty much use the same network ("g" something).

 

Blubster is supposed to be decent, but I use Kazaa and WinMX

 

Kazaa is the king of spyware. Just get ad aware and find some sites with the fixes and it's gold, it'll unlock higher encoded songs too. It truly is the work of the devil.

winmx is nice, i also heard something about xolox, and it being a genuine file-sharing program that does not have spyware. i haven't installed it yet, but a trusted friend says it's legit. i'll try it out tonight.

there's one that gets back better results than kazaa, its called imesh. It can pick up the rare stuff too.
