Kenwood 659 Headunit Question -Flush?

Hi,

I just recently got the Excelon 659 and it sticks out(mostly the face plate), a good 1/4-1/2 (big enough to notice). Did I not push it in far enough? Is it supposed to be flush (the faceplate part). My old excelon was flush almost exactly. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have a Kenwood head unit also. It seems Kenwood units don't quite fit flush within our dash. What I would do (and, what I did with mine) is to drill new holes into the mounting bracket. This way, you can adjust the way you want your headunit to sit in the dash.
