Got my subs in-BIG DISSAPOINTMENT-HELP
I got my subs in last night. I have two rockford fosgate Hx2 12 inch, and a nice memphis audio amp. The amp is rated at a little over 1000watts. Right now it is hooked up to the factory BOSE system using some converter we picked up at circuit city for like $25. When we got everything installed I was really dissapointed with the sound of the subs. They are not nearly as loud as i thought they would be. My cousin, who helped with the instalation, said it was because of the bose system, and if i replaced everything it would sound really good. I dont really have the money to do that, and i dont really mind the stock system. Does anyone now of any way i could keep the bose system while running my subs at full power. Thanks for any help.

I think you basically need an up-converter. To increase the voltage out of you bose adapter. I have never needed one, so havn't looked.
