Any Tweeter employees here? Got a question for you!

Tweeter stores have a catalog of custom panels to mount the subs. That catalog has smthg for our cars, but it is for 4th gen, and it is overly expensive. I want to know what is it called and how I could obtain the blueprints, so I can build an improved version for my 5th gen?

What catalog are you looking at? It is probably the JL Stealthbox for the 4th gen. No blueprints are available. Just have a custom fiberglass enclosure made for your car.

guess thats it. That box is shaped to the contours of the side of the trunk, and seem to be very lightweight. I want to build one on each side of the trunk, so I can use it again.

Can anyone email a few pics of the jl stealthbox. I'd appreciate it as I have seen several posts lately looking for something similar, but custom. And it shouldn't be too hard to duplicate. A little resin, glass, wood, etc.

I am trying to figure out how well that tiny little slot works. Especially considering the flexibility of the wafer board floor in the stock maxima.

Don, sure. But wait, its just some molded (plastic?) how can it be heavy?

I am sorry folks, its just that I did not know the name of that particular enclosure and I thought the one who works for Tweeter would know smthg about it.

Wish we had a GD on something like that.
