anyways i'd appreciate some help on this one. well i bought 2 12" alpine subs type E, didn't want a type r because the guy said it's nothing special you'll just blow your speakers or something like that. well they have 600 watts each sub. well anyone know anything about them? are they decent average below normal above normal etc.??? thanks

 

how much did u pay.
they are pretty good subs.
Not the best but no tthe worse either.
Depends on what you paid for them.

 

here's the low down...the type e's are the Entry level alpine sub. the type s is the middle line, and type r is the top level...the type s is pretty much equivalent to the jl w0's, or the kicker comp vr's...

i probably wouldnt buy them, but then again, i justified nearly 800 bux for a pair of brahma 15's
