help on switching stereos

is there anything i have to do if i want to switch the 97 stock gxe tape into a bose cd/tape? or is it as easy as pulling the old one out an plugging the new one in?

Bose system comes w/ the Bose speakers and AMP. So technically... you can't just swap headunits, you gotta do the whole audio system swap
