Why doesnt my power antenna work
After installing my cd player, (pioneer deh 6400) my power antenna no longer goes up. Was there something extra i needed to buy to make this work, or did i just forget a wire?

Re: Why doesnt my power antenna work
My memory is kind of hazy but I'm pretty sure that all you need to do is hook the power antenna wire from your wire harness with the remote wire. Pioneer doesn't have a seperate power antenna wire so that means that even when you play a CD your antenna will go up....

Pwr antenna
CASS98SE,
Having owned a lot of Pioneer products over the years , I would say that if you check out your connection pioneer doesn't have a antenna lead, but a remote turn on that many use to activate the antenna.
I have a Pioneer 8600 and use a branch off my "remote turn on" through a switch to power my attenna, otherwise the antenna would go up each time I turn on the radio.
I hope this helps
