i bought a Jensen power inverter at my job($30 with discount) 300watt and its giving me lines/static in my system when i run my PS2. I wired the ps2 to my outlet in the shop to make sure it wasnt the screen or the ps2, and it wasnt it played fine with no static or lines. It never gave me probs with my old screen either.

so what brands are you guys using??

I believe I am running a Jensen 140W unit and I have no problems with noise or static.

 

i was actually thinking baout tryin the lower wattage one and seeing what happens.

you hard wired or cig lighter? the hard wired setup would probably be better, but either way, you NEED a good solid ground. that might take care of your problem.

my friend Robby was tellin me that the ground on those things has to be solid or else you'll get a static. My ground/power wire is roughly 4ft in length. Maybe ill ground the converter under my seat and see what happens.
