Japanese Head Units

Does anyone know of a way to order a Alpine Head unit that is only available in Japan. I was on the Alpine website and they have a new line of head units. Also would the head units even work in our cars?

Will they work? I am pretty sure they will.

However, the AM and FM radio station bands are lower frequency and narrower band than in the US (the FM range in Japan is 76 MHz - 90 MHz). So you may not be able to get all of your radio stations. I believe you can buy an adapter to adjust the FM range, but you will still only be able to get 14 MHz worth of stations (ie 92.0 - 106.0 etc.)

There are several Japanese Alpine double din head units for sale on ebay that come with the fm modulator. (example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1376967326 )

Hope this helps.
