Help!! Omage! =[

Hey everyone,

Im finally got 2 more 10"s Cerwin Vega HED DVC's,

(Dual Voice Coils)

So i currently have 4 10s

The speakers are 4 ohms, but i understand that you can cross it over and make them 2 ohms,

will it shorten the life of the subs and maybe ever burn the voice coils?

tbats a link of a digram for the conversion but JBL subs..

Please help! =[

THanx everyone

first of all, ohms are a measure of resistance. It's like if you were measuring a distance, you wouldn't say Help!! Footage!

to answer you question, running the subs in different configiration will not shorten the life, unlees you feed them too much power, or a clipped signal. The web page gives a perfect setup that will work great with any Class D 2ohm stable amp.
