Help: Auto Start Problem

I have a viper 550, not sure how old it is, but anyways. I used my auto start this morning, and it didn't work. Imagine the sound your car makes when you start it, and its the first high pitch sound, before it turns over, sounds like it is at a high idle. Well, when i use the autostart, the high pitch stays on and then the car just shuts off..

Does anyone have any clues as to what can be wrong?

Thanks

The tach wire possibly fell out of place, or lost its coding.

First check your tach wire. It is located at the passenmger side of your ECU. Remove the black plastic cover by the passenger side center console, there you should see a white wire with a green line on it, make sure that is connected to your purple/black wire coming from your alarm/remote start.
