Rainbow, Focal's Utopia line, and Dynaudio. But they are the 3 most expensive as well. I have Dyns, and after almost 4 years, I still cant get over how good they sound..........

Best is matter of opinion. There is no real best. It all comes down to what YOU like.

Are you are planning to hook up directly to your HU?? If this is the case, then just good coaxials would be fine. If not then look into components.

To better help you I need to know the answer to the previous question first.

because im still trying to learn the in's and out's of building my car into an audiophile's wet dream, my plans for now, are to get two sets of coaxials, and hook them up to the HU. The basic specs im lookin for in the speakers, is to have a really clean sound, but are able to take a beating by bass. the reason for this is because im not ready to hook up subs in the 'max yet. i need to learn more b4 this step happens. once that is done, ill convert my coaxials into midbass focused speakers, and put tweets around the vehicle. but those are plans for later....

If this is the case, you should seriously re-consider your choice of head units. Blaupunkt is not up to SQ par with some of the suggestions posted ealier. If you get Dynaudios and your ears are sensitive enough, then the Blaupunkt will HAVE to go.
