experience with JVC Elkameleon head unit

experience with JVC Elkameleon head unit

i am looking at this unit because i like the looks and the performance. could anyone tell me bout there experiences with this or any info. i just want to know how it has performed on a day to day bases. thanks a lot

I work in the car stereo field, and I have to tell you that I have not heard good things about this JVC. That is why you will find good prices on it, because it does not perform well. I like the looks of it myself, but I am not recommending it. Looking for a nice priced, well built unit? I would suggest Kenwood(no i dont work for Kenwood). I have a KDC-X659...LOVE IT ! Good luck.

agreed. Lots of problems with those particular HUs. Not to mention the lack of SQ.
