2 or 3 way speakers

2 or 3 way speakers

im planning on replacing the door speakers and the rear decks im lookin for good clean loud sound im prob gonna amp the speakers but i dont kno if i should go with 2 ways or 3 ways any suggestions?

3ways are overrated, just get 2 ways or components if you really want it to sound nice....

yea, get some components in the fronts, and 2 way coaxils in the rear, i heard 3 ways before, imo, there isn't an audible difference between a 3 way and a 2 way coax, components are a different story.

Well first are you looking at 2 and 2 way components or COAX? If you are looking at componenets I think it makes a huge difference if SQ (Sound Quality) is what you are looking for. With a two way component he midbass driver is stressed a litter more than on a 3 way. The midbass is trying to play midbass and midrange frequencies. On a three way you have a dedicated midbass, midrange, and tweeter. So it depends on what you are looking for, you can get away with a two way system also 3 way's are expensive. Depends if sound quality is what you are looking for. Let me know if you have more questions.
