both of these companies make excellent speakers. The qsd 216 and the focal utopia 165w both are priced in the same range. i was wondering which are better quality. Anyone have these components and if u do wat amp are u running to them? wat are ur reactions to their sound? thanks for any help

 

I hands down prefer the Utopias or what I purchased Dynaudio.

 

Both have an advatage. Ive heard both in a few different setups. THe Qsd's play a little more acurate down lower say that 50hz-100 range if you use them that low. They seem to have more punch than the utopias, the u's have a little better smoothness to them in the mid range though. Both though would be a great choice.
