Subs i'm considering

i'm looking at buying some used subs from a kid who lives by me. he wants $125 for a dual 10" MTX road thunder box and speakers (sealed) and $200 for a dual 12" bandpass JBL box and speakers. please tell me if this is *hit or mildly a good deal.

hmmm....

I would honestly jsut go to ubid.com and buy some new stuff...it really is cheap and good stuff I have bought a lot from there....ie...fosgate he2 10's for 51 each....damn good subs for a great price....even my friend at brandsmart couldnt get them for less that 116 each and thats really good....check out you other options

my motto...never buy used stereo equipment...unless you know ABSOLUTELY that it was cared for and not beaten to death...and like the sleeper said...you can find awesome equipment cheap on the net...

I would consider image dynamics. about 150 dollars for image dynamics IDQ 12" DVC. Very good quality sub that doesn't need a whole lot of amp power.
