Still looking for some subs, 6000 i think is still gonna be too much, so what about the 4000, good stuff? I mean i dont want to be heard around the block, just want to hear my bass from the trunk. Give me some feedback on what you guys think and if the amp is enough power for it, thanks a lot, i appreicate it.

Brandon

the subs

Well you didn't mention how many subs/what sizes you are looking at. In the 10-12" range they are 50-200 rms and 400 peak... Get two of them and you should have more then enough bass. MTX is more of a tight, accurate bass compared to RF which is a louder bass. If thats what you're looking for then you should enjoy it. That amp should be fine for one of the subs, but not for two.

BTW-Crutchfield has a "special" on two 10"/12" MTX 5000's and a MTX 2150x amp for $350.

That amp should give you the 400 watts you are looking for at 2 ohms.
