Reccomendations on low power component speakers

Can anyone give any suggestions for a low power component speaker (6 1/2" + 1" tweeter) for my 2k3 Max? I'm looking to run it off of my aftermarket head unit (22w x 4), not an external amp.

I listened to amplified MB Quarts this weekend and it was just too bright for me. I like alot of bass, but not that much trebble and mids. I just want to replace the factory speakers and get rid of the bose amp.

Thanks!

i have diamond audio m3 components in my car, but i have them amplified. i heard them at the local audio shop both off a pioneer head unit, and off of an amp. now, they did sound better with the amp, but sounded incredible with just the 22 watts of the HU. the guy at the shop said that they work well without an amp, but i have read that its not good to run good speakers like those diamonds without an amp ( underpowering speakers is not good ). you might want to find out more, cause i dont really know that much about this stuff.

You might try infinity reference components. They are lighter and should be more efficient...and are cheap. Look into that...
