Question 2: Has anyone...radar?

Better than relocating the display ony, has anyone put the SENSOR in the grille area in a waterproof box? Locatign it there woudl get ti closer to the aiming point that police use: the grille or front license plate. I thought about using ribbon cable, but wanted to see if others have tried this. Any takers?

THanks. Good explaination. If Valentine does not make them, there is surely a reason why. Bell used to make one, with front and rear mounted sensors (attatched over the edge of the license plate in the rear, in the grille in the front), but it was $300, and that was 8-10 years ago.

funny. i remember that too. but yeah, way too low to be effective. I would mount it on the windshield and rear window, passenger side, near the top. But we got that lame black band up there. OH wells.
