Both are good choices. People on the .org seem to like Diamond best, but I have had good luck with Boston as well. I also like Focal and CDT audio. Depends on your tastes and budget. For the money, my favorite right now is probably the CDT Eurosports ($200 off at many online places).

Diamond Audio here. You can't beat PearlMax's pricing with Diamond.

I would go with the Boston Pro Series. I had a set of 5 1/4s in my old Accord for 5 years. I was putting 100 watts to each speaker and they sounded great and I never blew them.

If you want to know how to install them yourself and not pay the hundreds of dollars that it might take to have it installed email me at donpctek@yahoo.com it is actually real easy to do and doesn't take a long time and you'll appreciate it more knowing that you are the reason it is in place.

My friend has these speakers in his CLK and they sound good as well. Its all in what sounds best to you, listen to both if you can. You def wont be dissapointed with either.

And still no one votes for Dynaudio. Even if they are retail $760 a pair, I would have hoped for at least one other person to mention them... Guess I'm the only one...

Well, I can name off components that retail for $8k or even $15k, but it doesn't necessarily mean they're the best!

No but it does help...But for the best, the true best with no cost being considered, most have not been mentioned.

i had 6X9's in my old max, THERE IS NO CUSTOMIZATION NEEDED! all you do is put it in from underneath where the trunk is instead of from up top which involves removing the seats and inside interior.

I have MTX coaxials for sale 6X9 and THEY SOUND GREAT AND A LOT EASIER TO PUT ON!!!
