HELP! Is this too much?!?!
i was planning on buying 2 PG Ti600 amps rated at 2x150@4 to run my front and rear stages. i was going to wire the power w/ 1 1/0 ga. kit to am ANL fused distribution block split into 4 ga. wire. i am going to use 13 ga. rf gamma geometry speaker wire. im using rca expert series 20' cables. is this overkill on the wiring? any help is appreciated thanks!
knuknoceptz is great..

oh, and "too much" is really only dependant on your wallet.. 4 guage would be fine for 600W, but if can afford 1/0, go for it.. there will be less voltage drop, and you will have the capacity to carry the current you might need later on if you upgrade the system..
also, don't waste your money on that RF speaker wire.. any decent quality 16-14 guage wire will do..

I would use at least 1/0 for the two PG's. They are inefficient amps and will benefit from the larger wire. They could draw 100 amps or more current from the system. But that would be at about max output. You will also need to have sufficient wire size for the sub amp. If I were you I wouldn't waste money on 150 watts for rear stage. Unless you sit in back while driving. But it would still be overkill. I believe in about a 10/1 ratio for front stage to rear stage power.
I totally agree about not wasting your money on speaker wire.
