Mounting amps to back seat on 5th gen

Hey all, I currently have a JL Audio 500/1 amp mounted to my back seat and I wanted to mount a 300/4 right next to it. The problem is that I measured and it looks like they won't fit by just a hair or 2 (total length = 26.8 inches (13.4" wide x 2 each amp).

Has anyone sucessfully done this? Or do you have any other ideas that would make for a nice amp mounting location for these 2 amps without building a false floor?

Thanks!

Amp Location

I would suspend a board from your rear deck. Then you could mount your amps onto it. Just a thought, I know the seat location will not work.

Thanks. I was kind of thinking the same thing but I was thinking of doing a shelf that was mounted to the floor infront of the window on my sub box (which faces the rear seat).

Can you give me more info on the rear deck mount? I'd like to hear all the possiblities before I start cutting the MDF!
