HELP!! please!

My speakers are MAX:160watts, RMS:40watts.
Can I run my 240watt(60x4) AMP? I thought RMS is always half of the MAX output(80watts)!?

what is the brand and model of your speakers and amp?

don't pay any attention to max ratings.. the RMS rating is the important one..
