What do you think of Sony Xplod CDX-M630 CD Receiver?

I was thinking about buying a Sony Xplod CDX-M630 cd receiver but since I don't know audio pretty well, I would like to have some comments about this model. How's the quality of it? I heard that song with a lot of bass doesn't sound that good with it, is that true? And what about the fact that the face isn't removable? Did you had any problem with that or is it hard to see it from outside of the car since the face is all black? I think it looks pretty cool with the fliping face but what do you guys think?

Here's a link to this receiver:

Honestly, from looking at car audio forums, they ususally never reccomend any sort of sony equipment when it comes to car audio. For HU's, ususally you cannot go wrong with pioneer. A good receiver right now, that can be picked up cheap is the JVC KD-SH707. They go for about 225 us on ebay, and they can even play mp3s. They have 4v preamps with a subout as well and subwoofer control.
