Speakers
I want to put in a set of 3x9 speakers in my 96 maxima, I was wondering on the best way to do this, as some cutting will be involed and as you all know, not a lot of room to work back there, whats the best way for me to go about this?

I'd remove back seat and go in that way. Cut what you need so the speakers fit in there and rest on toop of rear deck. Alternatively you could cut from within the trunk but risk injuring the mnaterial covering the rear deck. Isnt too hard to remove rear deck covering. Take off the bottom part of the rear seat, then the top will slide up and off - pop up the rear deck and whoila. access to rear speakers.

HAHA I proved you all wrong once again!

"Do round speakers sound better than oval-shaped speakers (i.e. 6x9's)? The answer is yes for most practical purposes. A round cone is more rigid than an oval-shaped one, so at higher levels, an oval-shaped speaker will distort more. The reason why there are oval-shaped speakers is because of rear deck space considerations by manufacturers. An advantage of a 6x9 speaker over a 6-inch speaker is that it has a bigger area, so it will move higher air volume, producing more bass."

have you ever heard of a tractrix horn like on klipsch speakers, they actually increase the loudness without distorting the sound too much

A horn is just like any other speaker, wheather it would be a tweeter, midrange, sub, or ribbon tweet. So yes the shape does play a role in your stuiped idea of speaker shape being that large of an idea.
Yes I do know about Klipsch.
By the way what makes you an "audio specialist"...And if you say you worked at best buy or some sad **** like that, just walk away with your head down now.
Name droping don't work with me...Try somthing else.
