what's more important for an in-dash LCD -- brightness or resolution?

Hi there!

If you had a choice between a high-resolution but dimmer LCD, and a
poorer resolution but brighter LCD, which would you pick?

so...

resolution --> 2400 x 480
brightness --> 200cd/m2

VERSUS

resolution --> 1440 x 234
brightness --> 400cd/m2

all help is appreciated!

thanks,

Resolution, hands down. There will be times when the screen will not be seen in the daylight. A dimmer does nothing for that. at night, any illumination works. Go for the better resolution/picture.

Definetely resolution. You really dont want a unclear screen.
