DVD/LCD single din units

Fellas, I've been thinking about upgrading my deck for a while and wondered what everyone's thoughts were on the single din dvd/lcd packages available, like the Clarions (touch screens good?) or the Pioneer AVH-P7480DVD. Worth buying or should I keep with a non-dvd setup.
