Custom Laptop in Car?

So I got this Apple iBook for X-Mas (12.1 inch screen.) I have this idea to make something in my car to hold it so I can watch DVD's, listen to MP3's, etc. I was thinking of somehow putting it in the glovebox. The thing is, I have to be able to remove it easily, etc. Any suggestions?

You might want to take a look at what the police use to hold their laptops in their cars. It's like a stand on a flexible/swivel base that holds their laptops within arms reach. This won't put it in the glovebox, but it makes for easy removal when you want to take it with you.

It's not so practical if you carry around front seat passengers all the time, either.

Another thing along these lines is copying the design of those old portable CD player holders that plug into your cigarette lighter or mount to your floor. It's just a little platform on a swivel or goose neck that holds the portable CD player. If you could take that design and beef it up a bit you'd pretty much have the above mentioned laptop holder.

Hope this helps,
