how would u wire this

i just got a new alpine cda 7897 for xmas and my old sony all works but the cd player. i want hook up the sub out(rca) of the alpine which runs all the speakers to the sonys line in so the visualiation of the sony (its best feature) corrisponds with the alpines music and so that i take advantage of the double din
my question is that should i wire both units to the same power source though my wire harness or should i find a new power source for the sony? im pretty sure that it would work by putting the the 3 yellow (sony, alpine, sorce together) or is the stock wiring not large enought to do this.i know people on here have stock bose that are double din how do u do this. Or should i just find some other place to steal power.

I would think you'd be okay. You're only going to be using one radio for the display correct? If that's the case it shouldn't use too much current and you should be fine. Just make sure you ground the two radios properly to avoid noise. One question though, what do you mean by, "the sub out(rca) of the alpine which runs all the speakers"? That output shouldn't be used to run all your speakers.

I would use AUX out not sub out(or disable the crossover in the headunit) to avoid corssover point stuff (so the visualisation on the sony represents full freq range not just the sub requencies)
