Well, I started with 5 1/2"two-ways in the front, 6" woofers in the rear deck. Now its 6" two-ways plus 1" tweeter in the front and 5 1/2" two-ways in the back. But don't base your system off mines, I wish I could have used 6" componets in the front and the 5 1/2" two-ways in the back; I want to have a little more control of the front speakers as far as mid bass is concerned.....

Depends on your preference...

I personally like the full range of sound from all directions. Others say this is "incorrect stageing" and the image should only come from the front and there should be only filler or nothing from the back.

The easy way to do it is components in the front and coax's in the back. I decided to go with all components and I think I'll mount my rear tweeters in the b-pillars as others have done.

i have a premier 740mp mp3 head unit..i dont plan on gettin subs cause i mainly listen to rock but still want some decent low and mid range sound... right now im thinking of goign with 6inch 3 ways in the front and 6 inch 2 ways in back..will that sound alright?..im not gonna be running any amps or anyting..(im under the impression that 3 ways will give you slightly better highs and mids, and 2 ways will give slightly better mids and lows.)someone correct me if im wrong...i just want a little better sound quality from the $350 head unit..and my stock speakers cant handle it.any suggestions on types on a speaker setup for front and back.?.i dont want to spend more than 180 total for front and rear..thats the budget.any help will be much appreciated....thanks alot guys..

ohh...mp3 head unit is the best. 120songs..1 cd..its awesome..thats my 2 cents....

Yeah, you have the same headunit as mines, but I didn't pay for the "Premier" label. You can use your HPF to cut out the bass from your system, use the tone to turn down the bass, or go to your 3-band EQ to eliminate the bass.
