A/V Receivers?

A/V Receivers?
I want to add two headrest monitors and a possible in-dash monitor soon. Problem is I can't find any decent receivers to mate them all together without paying out as much as $500 to $700 dollars for one. I know A/V switches are cheaper, but how can I have them playing through the headunit? I want to put my Playstation or PS2 in for those long road trips...........

Well the headrest monitors are not that expensive. You can get good decent ones for around 100-200 a piece. But the indash monitor is going to cost a good $1000 if you want DVD. Also then a master control unit is needed for most Indash LCDs. Some come with the indash, some sold separately. But most master units have the capability of controlling the rear headrest monitors and even separating them into a 2nd zone for two different views.
I know Pioneer, Alpine, Panasonic and Eclipse does this for sure. The standard Indash LCDs without DVD and a master unit can be bought now for about $800-1000. DVD ones running anywhere from $1000-2000 including the master control unit depending on brand.
Unfortunately this is not a cheap thing to get into. It has been getting cheaper.... but still kinda expensive when you compare it to like $500. It can get up there when you start adding units.
