Double Din in 2K GXE?

Double Din in 2K GXE?
I've been searching for an hour but haven't found the exact answer I'm looking for. I have the 2K Maxima GXE with stock stereo (single DIN with pocket underneath). It appears I can add a double din head unit there. Does anyone know whether its a direct fit or do I need to buy an install kit for it (e.g. Scoche)? Thanks.
