I have had some issues with my alarm that an installer put on my car a few months back. The windows crack just slightly due to a double pulse on the alarm when you unlock/disarm. Appearantly it is too fast or something. Anyway, the installer recommended the Audiovox Prestige alarm. Does anybody know anything about these? Are they any good? Terrible? Any experience would be greatly appreciated.

Well, Hell... I just did a search for Audiovox Prestige, and it seems like no one has good things to say about it, especially Don, whose opinion I really respect. I just called my installer and told him to go with the Viper. It's gonna cost me an additional $170 (as opposed to the $100 that the Audiovox would cost), but it sounds like it's worth it.
