CD Stuck

My Weezer cd (Blue album) is stuck in my 96 bose headunit. The unit wont even power up. How do I atleast get the cd back? Fixing the headunit?

Thanks in advance

NOOOOOOO!!!! poor weezer cd

Seriously though, I've heard of a trick where you take a pair of tweezers, wrap each end with gauze/kleenex or something of the like, and you can eventually fish the CD out that way...

With an hu that old, It may cost more to fix than it would to go get one from a junked maxima. try www.car-part.com. If you can find a replacement, you would probably be better off taking that old hu appart.

I appreciate the comments. I used a swiss knife to try to wiggle it out to no avail. Instead, I disconnected the negative terminal of the battery for about 15 minutes. Upon reconnection, the cd was spat out! Thank goodness. The CD is fine and my HU works again. For anyone who has a broken headunit, immediately try this. It saved me time, I was about to buy a new one.
