thinking of the trunk lid but would love to see how everyone's looks..

The Kenwood FM Mod comes with a mounting plate.

Why do you say that? Does tint block out the signal?

A metallic tint will. My tint is metallic.

It is too dark to take pics of mine right now and I forgot earlier but my Sirius ant is on the trunk just aft of my spoiler...will take pics tomorrow.

stuck on thin 6x6 metal square ($3 at home depot), dremeled corners and edges smooth so it can't cut or rip anything (if you were to move it around), painted gray to match rear deck, loop side of velco on bottom so it doesnt slide around.

actually, the antenna worked well without the metal patch, but you will get alittle more gain (db) if the antenna sits on metal.

You can also paint the Terks, as long as you dont use metallic paint.

My reception is fine. I only get dropouts when I am directly under stuff (bridges, gas stations, etc...) This is because we dont have any terrestrial repeaters where I live. I was in Atlanta over the weekend and never got a drop, even inside a parking deck.

Here's another install I did last Sunday with the antenna in the same location on a 2003 Sentra SE-R SpecV.

Brett, don't worry about reception in the city. I was down there with my wife after I installed it and I didn't have one problem.

cool.. thanks Deezo! I have to order the right wiring harness.. apparently one of the connectors is different for sirius equiped radios when compared to the fm modulator
