Jensen vs HU

OK, I have 2 MTX subs and 2 tweeters in a box, and I also got a Jensen 600 watt amp. Both of these I got for free off a friend. I tested the subs already. Anyways, i keep hearing that jensen sucks... My question is like this. My headunit is 200 watts, and im not using any of it simply because im using a line level adapter because of the Bose speakers. Is there a way to use the 200 watts for the sub box only? if so, is this the way to go with this problem? Id like to spend as least as possible, and installing all this amp wiring is fooking expensive. what do you guys think?

You cannot run subs from HU power... the real power on the HU is not 200W !! Its more like 15Wrms per channel.... the only way to go with subs is with an amp... and what you have is enough to run subs.

ok, i guess that questions is answered, my next is, what is so crappy about the Jensen amps? I mean granted they arent name brand or something but im wondering if people are slamming then just because of that or because they do in fact, suck. Also, how worried should I be about this stuff draining my cars power? IE dimming headlights while im driving at night?
