speaker size

How big of a speaker can fit in the door without any modification? I am not reffering to the diameter of the speaker, I need to know how bg I can go with depth? I don't want to have to make anything so that it fits so I was wondering whats the largest size that will fit?

If you go to crutchfield.com you can enter your specific model in and it will tell you which speakers fit "P"erfect. Then take the model #'s and find a better deal. Hope this helps.

I went to crutchfield and they said that the speakers for the car would have to be 6 3/4 for front and rear. I was always told that the 4th gen needed 6.5?

Most of the time 6.5 and 6.75 speakers have adapter rings so they are almost all interchangeable. 6.5's should do fine.

6.75 have also been known as "oversized 6.5". If you get 6.5s, you can buy adapter rings to make them fit perfect.
