Increasing Juice

What have you guys done to increase the juice to your systems? Has anyone tried adding a higher output alt from a newer Max or other Nissan that can easily be added?

As far as I know 14.4 volts is the standard car chargeing voltage. That's the general agreement amongst auto makers for charging a 12.5 volt car battery. There is not need to go higher at the current time. Auto makers are considering going to a 36 volt system with 42 volt charge rate. But that is 5-10 years or more in the future. Don't hold your breathe. There are systems that can increase the voltage to the stereo. But they are not needed.

Not what I meant

I actually meant increasing amperage not voltage, as in getting a bigger alternator, capacitor, battery, etc...

I should have been more clear.

The 110 or so amps the factory alt produces is generally good for musical systems of up 2000 watts. Don't get me wrong, I know how to calculate max amperage draw. But most music only hit max draw for fractions of a second, adding up to 2-3 seconds total in a day or two. That's if you listen above permanent hearing damage levels. Unless you plan on competeing in SPL at a high level, don't worry about the factory alt.
