ok in my old car i had some nice 12" subs in my trunk and when the lid of the trunk was open it sounded great but when the trunk was closed you could barely hear the subs. is this a problem with maximas? i am think about putting 2 15" RE XXX in the trunk. thanks

 

15's are gonna be incredibly loud. i have 2 12's and they knock about as much as i can tolerate....since you don't drive with the trunk open - hopefully - it shouldn't matter that much right? just pull down the little arm rest in the back seat and open the hole. it will sound so much better.

re xxx 15's would be real loud...you could try 2 ported adire audio brahma 12's, thats where i was goin with my system but thier like 36lbs each plus the box, lotta wieght for subs...and pulling the arm rest down makes a pretty big diference too...just my .02
