Will this trunk setup work?

Will this trunk setup work?
Right now I have a dual sealed subwoofer enclosure for my two 12" subs. I was thinking of getting two single sub enclosures (sealed or ported, not sure). I am thinking this because since our Maxima's only have that small hole in the middle of the backseat, maybe more bass will flow throughout the car, instead of having that big box in the middle of the trunk blocking everything. I havent measured anything yet, but maybe some of you have heard about other members who have tried this or talked about it? Basically I just wanted to clear the way for the middle so that everything can flow smoothly, and also maybe wanted to mount my amps in the middle of the two boxes to look nice, and still have some room left over in my trunk. Let me know, just a thought

That would work fine. I single box won't really matter if you face the subs to the rear. That is actually what I would recommend.

Well I plan on having TWO single boxes facing the rear, just wanted tomse feedback before I actually did it

I don't think you will notice much difference between from 1 box to 2. If you leave your armrest down all the time, I might do a single box with the port in your armrest.

There was a guy on here who did this...he had a darker maroon colored car...hmm..I cant remember his name..he had 2 kicker subs, mounted one on each side of the trunk..facing the back of the car (taillights)...It really looked nice--I cant remember tho--hopefully he'll post!

Ive been thinking a lot, and planning a lot, Ive had a second image of how I might want my trunk setup to be, I think it might be easier, and still look good, let me know what you guys think.
The subs are not facing directly at each other, but angled outwards toward the trunk (maybe around 45 degrees, more or less). One port hole on each box (for that low end bass). And the amps in front on the floor. Let me knwo what you guys think, give me the pros and cons, if any.

I wouldn't angle them too much at all or they will be cancelling themselves out and you will get much less SPL.
