insurance?

i am planning in the future to spend a decent amount of money on a stereo system. I was wondering if it is possible to have it insured somehow? and if so how would i go about getting it insured? would the subs need to be Bolted down? and what about the HU...i'm just curious and i don't feel like having 2-3k gone/destroyed.is this unheard of? anyways any input would be helpful.

Full Coverage

Just as long as your car is fully insured not liability insured than your covered. I would check your insurance company first though. My insurance company covers it.

You can get an option ryder on your insurance policy for an extra fee each month. The amount you can insure is up to you, but the rate varies based upon alot of factors like location, theft-rate, age, sex, if the car is garaged or not, security system, etc.
