speaker wiring

speaker wiring

i just got some midrange speakers (infinity) and im splicing the wires.. which color goes in which hole?


and also.. i have 2 stock speakers and these 2 (other two blew out).. should i put these in the back or in the doors? these new ones have crazy bass.. i have an alpine cda-7893

Why are you splicing wires? Why don't you crimp on female spade connectors and slip them over the male spade connectors on the speakers. I assume that Alpine CDS-7893 is a head unit. If so, what you should do is either pull the head unit out and follow the positive and negative wires to the car's wiring harness and note which color they couple to and write it down so you don't have to go through the pain of taking the HU out again.

what about speaker placement? put the stockers in the back or the aftermarket ones in the back?
