Building A Stealth Box

Have any of you ever built a stealth box similar to the JL Audio one?

I am interested in doing it myself, also is there room to put a 12" instead of a 10", I figure this would be a lot cheaper than buying the JL one

It would be cheaper! What year max is yours? Also what kind of 12" are you looking at?

Well I would give you suggestions, but I need to know your budget! You can easily fit 2 12" in a 97. Do you know what amp you are getting?

No, I had 2 12"s in before, but I want it to be hidden exactly like the jl audio one, as I don't want to lose trunk space, access to my spare tire or my ski thing. I'm unsure of my budget right now, but for enclosure and sub definitely cheaper than the jl audio one as i will be building it myself

Fiberglass towards the space behind the rear tail lights, in the corner, one on each side.

Easy, but time consuming and nasty! Look up Fiberglass enclosure on the net, there are a lot of stuff!

Many people have done that and loved it, I have never heard it so I can't comment.

What is your goal?
Basic system that can be heard and turn heads?
System you can enjoy only in the car?
Bad AZZ BOMIN BASS?

well I have infinity component system in the front and a nice pair of ba's in the back, so probably one that has some good bass and turns heads, but nothing too expensive

Well like I said I have no personal experience with the Basslink, but you can easily add (2) 12" in a custom enclosure and you will be able to get some heads!
In turn the (2) 12" and an AMP will be more expensive than a BassLink which already has a built in amp!

Sounds like a good deal, especially since you are shipping it.
